A Moray man is out to prove that laughter can be the best possible therapy after attending a training camp on the subject in India.
Michael Stretch is a student of Dr Madan Kataria, the founder of the Laughter Yoga movement, and is aiming to spread the word – and the laughter – to Moray when he begins teaching an eight-week course of hasya yoga from August 31.
The classes are to take place at Moray College, but to introduce people to the techniques he is offering two free sessions on August 2 and August 9 at the Elgin Community Centre from 7pm to 9pm.
